A solid tempo on the cards with Imperioness leading the way. DUBAI FLYER (2) whacked away but made no impression last start in a Class 1 over the mile at Wyong. Beaten just a length at Newcastle over this distance the run before which is a strong form reference. Hard to beat despite the big weight. IMPERIONESS (11) improved sharply last time out when second-up from a break, just missing the placings over 1400m at Wellington. Has won third-up before so from a good gate she is one to keep safe. LITTLE BIT YOURS (12) is yet to miss the top three in three runs at this distance so don't rule her out. ROCKBARTON ROMAN (1) third-up today and will be fitter for recent racing. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dubai Flyer on top.
