Genuine tempo with Plumeria Kuhio leading the way. LORD INFERNO (9) was in commission second up last start and was in the frame for the second time in as many runs this prep, finishing second over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Great chance to break through. DAIGO RYUJIN (11) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and led into the straight before faded out of it, finishing fourth over 1700m at this track. Yuji Tannai has registered two minor placings when on board. Sure to run well. PLUMERIA KUHIO (4) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in the firing line on the turn, finishing a head from the winner in second at the end of 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Likely improver with strong prospects. GRAND CENTRAL (2) is a five-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Should be poised just off the lead. Not to be discounted.
