Tingler and Freewheeler should lock horns early at a strong clip. FREEWHEELER (7) has been freshened up since copping some early interference then storming home but just missing out over this distance at Gunnedah five weeks ago. Usually races on the speed so with a bit more luck in running today he looks the one to beat. TINGLER (6) is a lightly raced filly back from a 12-week spell. Debuted last prep with a win over this distance at Tamworth. Nicely drawn and should kick off with a big run. ARE YOU JOKING (1) is a genuine gelding returning from a 19-week lay-off. Finished third on debut over this trip at Scone then peaked two runs later when he won here. Sure to be thereabouts. AVOID ME (5) is back sharply in trip after struggling over 1400m in the wet at Taree last start. Anticipating a better run on firmer ground with the winkers back on. SCHWOON (8) has been plain of late but the senior jock goes on, he draws the fence, and has a tongue tie applied so a better run will not surprise. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Freewheeler.
