Fumitatsu Twinkle is the probable leader in the small field. LOGI ROSE (1) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on March 19 over 1700m when he got home by 30 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form he is right in contention. SAGESSE (3) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months and is having his outing under new trainer Shigeru Sato. Finished seventh at Kyoto over 2400m at the opening run last time in work. Will be tuned up for this and is expected to run well. FOR BEROUL (6) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 1700m. Can measure up again. SAECHI (4) was sixth at the second run back from a break in a 1400m contest at this track last time out. Fitter and capable of featuring prominently.
