Solid tempo anticipated with Keiai Sena taking charge. ASCOLTIAMO (6) went to the paddock after scoring at her only appearance last prep 11 weeks ago over 1800m at Tokyo. Should be poised just off the lead. Best form puts her right in this. JULIA BAROWS (4) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months after stringing together two minor placings prior to spelling. Has a solid first-up record. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to hold out. KEIAI SENA (7) was last at the races when he finished third over 1800m at Kokura on January 14. One to consider. DECORATION (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Nakayama, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
