Cracking early tempo with Coastal Strike and Mrs Supergrass leading the way. MRS SUPERGRASS (6) was a beaten favourite on debut but did have to work hard early on that day and it told in the run to the line when she finished a hard-fought third. She will be better for that run and can take this out. TURN UP THE MUSIC (2) has the ability and did well to finish third in a stronger field at Cranbourne last time out. He is back in trip but is still good enough to figure in the finish again. FLOWER GALLERY (3) doesn't know how to run a bad race but just can't seem to break through at the moment. The trip suits her and another honest run can be relied upon. PARANA RIVER (7) will be peaking third up and outside of the top 3 picks, there is not much depth to this field. She has the ace draw and is worth including in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mrs Supergrass to win.
