DUCHESS DI (2) was close to a win before a break, starting favourite at the latest appearance and finishing third at this track. Expect she has come on over the break. Has ability and can hit the ground running this campaign. NATIONAL BLISS (4) is a first-starter by What A Winter from Circle Of Speed who has in turn produced the winner of a black type. Profiles well for this. EMPRESS WU (1) has been in the money nine times including first-up last start on January 29 when third over 1000m at this track. Has a solid record here with eight top-three finishes to her name. Among the chances.
