Strong early tempo with Nishino Tamechika and D's Rouge leading the way over Mai Kagura. D'S ROUGE (7) returns after a break of four months. Has won three on end, the latest over 900m at this track. Mitsuhiro Masuda aboard again and expected to go very well. NISHINO TAMECHIKA (3) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by 2.5 lengths over 900m at this track as favourite. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four runs. Big chance once again. FEDERAL STYLE (4) was below her best last time when eighth over 1200m at Funabashi, beaten 10 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. KURINO ANGEL (12) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 28 when beaten 22 lengths into 11th at Funabashi over 1500m. Placed to advantage and can run a better race.
