HOME AND DRY (8) was once again right in the mix last time out when runner-up over 1690m at this track, beaten 7 metres. Can travel in a nice spot from this draw and wait on the sprint lane if necessary. Leading hope in this comparable race. ZU HOFFEN (7) finished second last start, beaten 10 metres at Melton over 1720m. Capable of playing a major role so has to be respected. ALCATRAZ GIRL (6) is in the mix following a respectable second at her most recent appearance over 1755m at Echuca. Top-three credentials. RINGER RUSS (5) was in the money two starts ago then things went wrong last start when he broke and finished 16 metres away in seventh over 1690m here. Beautifully placed and is able to make amends.
