MOMENTUM SHIFT (11) settled handy but didn't find enough in the end and could only manage sixth last start over 1720m at Melton, that effort coming on the back of some comparable performances of late. Not drawn to best so may need a 10/10 drive. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. WITH IN REASON (9) continued a strong run of recent form and deserved his win last time out, scoring by 1.4 metres over 1690m at Shepparton. Not drawn to best so may need a 10/10 drive. That latest effort is good enough to take out a race like this. SPORTS NARRATOR (2) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Shepparton over 2190m. Genuine threat. LILSTREPO (12) is next in line but might need a few good breaks from an awkward draw.
