Pace strong from Feargal and Winsome Flowers vying for the lead closely attended by Dark Harmony.
EDDYSTONE (3) is a former Japanese-trained gelding who has yet to hit his straps but did run a much better race for fifth second up at Geelong nearly 3 weeks ago. He will be spot-on with his fitness third up and is down in class. A good draw makes him the one to beat this time. ACTAEON (1) ran on late and battled on strongly to finish fifth and not far off the winner in a similar race to this on the track 11 days ago. He will be peaking third up and from a superior gate, he is poised to put his best hoof forward. LATE ARRIVAL (5) won his maiden fresh up at Geelong and his 3 subsequent runs have all had merit. He has the blinkers on for the first time and drops 3.5kg. Declan Bates is back in the saddle and he is good enough to take this out. FEARGAL (4) led for a long way in a similar field here 11 days ago and finished runner-up by a head when being claimed late. He made all the running when scoring fresh up on this track and will again be the one that they all have to peg back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eddystone to win.
