Pace genuine with Sanei Goro and Presto Venus pressing hard closely followed by Grell and Kannon Animo. GRELL (3) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1400m at Urawa. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Likely improver with strong prospects. PRESTO VENUS (7) turned in a fine effort to win by one length at today's track and distance last start in a far better run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SHONAN MANA (6) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when 11th, beaten 7 lengths, over 1000m at Funabashi. Has the ability to figure prominently. COPANO STEPHANIE (11) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Scored over 1000m at Monbetsu at the start of last prep. One to consider.
