GOING: N

CELEBRATING VIN MCCONNELL TROT 1690m

Track: GOOD

STRAIGHT TO THETOP (4) has recorded two wins and two minor placings from the past five starts. Won two starts back at Bendigo and was again to the fore at her latest appearance over 1690m at Kilmore, scoring by 2.25 metres after taking control a fair way out. Finds a nice race and will prove very tough to beat once more. ATTRACTED (5) got the prize two runs back then things went sour last time when he broke and finished 30 metres back in fifth over 2160m at Echuca. This doesn't look as hard so he can bounce back. SUZYS DREAM (3) is looming as a real threat after a better effort last start, finishing second at Echuca over 2160m. Top-three candidate. SETTLE THE BILL (6) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish third at Melton over 1720m. Should find this a touch easier.
