Not seeing a great deal of early speed on the map. CULMINALE (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 0.9 lengths when fourth in a 2400m contest at Tokyo four weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. STONES (8) finished third when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Niigata. Nicely placed and expected to go well. STELLA CROWN (5) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a spell last start over 2000m at this track. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. JINSEI (15) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Niigata, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
