Solid tempo with Dark Legacy to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. WASHINGTON (6) built strongly to a tough last-start win by a short-head at Wodonga just over 3 weeks ago and should not find this field much harder. He is perfectly drawn and drops 1.5kg in weight. Cory Parish sticks with him and so do we. On top. DARK LEGACY (10) has been in good form this season in slightly weaker fields but did place at this level in September. He is perfectly drawn and another honest effort can be expected. SHOELESS (2) should be among the hardest to beat after back-to-back second-place finishes. The most recent of those was 9 days ago at Kilmore. The step up to the mile is ideal and he can go one better. MISCHINKA (8) is a veteran mare who has the blinkers off for the first time in her career. Include in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Washington to win.
