Was overdue for a win before a break and sure to be tough to beat here fresh. ANGEL ROUND (5) returned from a spell last start with a solid second in a maiden steeplechase (2850m) at Niigata with today's rider Y Igarashi aboard. Can feature again after that bright return. SUNNY OCEAN (4) was out of the money last time out when he finished fourth on his jumps debut in a maiden steeplechase (2850m) at Niigata. Makes plenty of appeal this time. BALLADE IN MILANO (1) finished fourth two back in a maiden steeplechase (3000m) at Chukyo then again missed out in a maiden steeplechase (2850m) at Niigata last time. No surprise to see him back in form.
