Reasonable tempo with Goodes probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. BOLD CHERIE (7) changed from a Sydney stable before the start of the season and has found some form on the picnic circuit recently. She was third at Tumut 8 days ago and won't find this any harder. A good draw will help and she should be among the hardest to beat. PATRICK (5) is trained on the course and can secure a soft run from the pole position. The blinkers go on and in his third start for a new trainer, he can figure in the finish. GOODES (1) has had some gear changes since his last start here nearly 2 weeks ago. He will have no excuses with his fitness this time and is worth including in all multiples. HELLS SON (2) was only beaten by a nose at Echuca 3 weeks ago and will appreciate the extra furlong on offer here. He is set to go one better. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bold Cherie each way.
