SKY SPIRIT (8) is a progressive colt with two wins and a close second from just three starts. Impressed when scoring by close to 11m over a similar distance last time at Kilmore. Kept up to the mark with a trial since and draws for a trail. Can continue to work through his grades. BULLAPARK BENO (7) did a good job last start when he came from the back row and raced wide but stuck on for second at Bendigo. That gave him two wins and three minor placings from the past six starts. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw but with even luck he is a winning hope. LEANNE LEEANN (4) produced a good effort last time out when third after racing parked at Terang. Draws lower and has a solid record here. BLACK AND GOLD (3) next best.
