Certain to be a strong tempo with Moana Gold, Siglo De Oro and Signature Tart leading the charge. BOOM BREAK (4) will be better for the two solid efforts at Doomben and he led the latest. Finally draws an inside barrier and Maloney takes over from Jones. Has the first time blinkers and he's ready to win. Jones rides stablemate BOMBARD (7) who has switched from the Bjorn Baker yard in Sydney. Draws awkwardly but her best efforts more than stack up and she has a Deagon trial under the saddle. The betting moves will tell plenty. Ditto with BRAZEN ACT (1), who was last seen when heavily bet and narrowly beaten at Doomben. Resumes off a trial placing there and is likely to race forward with cover. SIGLO DE ORO (9) resumes much improved at Doomben on speed and then led and missed a whisker in NSW country. Goes wet and dry and is worth consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Boom Break.
