From the wide draw Nori Samson can cross and set up a solid tempo. NORI SAMSON (13) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1200m at this track. Has the gate speed to cross from out wide. Hard to beat in this suitable race. POND SPRING (2) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1200m at this track, scoring by a neck. Winning rider Shunsuke Ishikawa sticks and he is definitely worth including. RED FLOGA (11) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 1200m at this track 11 weeks ago. Sure to make his presence felt. FLORIDA FOUNTAIN (9) was beaten 10 lengths into 12th in a 1200m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
