GOING: N

STRATH HILL BUTCHER PACE (1ST HEAT) 2150m

Track: GOOD   Rain (Max: 17)

LILLY LOTUS (6) enjoyed a class drop to register her second win from three starts this time in when she found the lead and scored by 3 metres at Cobram. Draws wider but won the only time she raced here. Leading hope. CUZZY BRO (10) resumes after closing his last prep with a fourth in the Globe Derby at Launceston in December. Draws on the second row but is proven fresh. Can pose a serious challenge. CREDULOUS (9) was beaten only 2.7 two back at Melton and made it back-to-back placings when runner-up last time, adding to a solid record at this circuit and distance. Go well again. MARLO MAREAU (2) ended last campaign with a string of top-three finishes and draws for a good showing.
