Expecting Bonnard to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. SEIUN DAKISHIMETE (11) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last time out to make it two-for-two this prep. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within her grasp. FILAMENT (3) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by 2.5 lengths. Winning rider Ryo Novata stays aboard and he is right in the mix again. BONNARD (6) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 5 lengths back in fourth over 1500m at Urawa. Another bold showing is expected. STAR ADMIRAL (7) lined up for start 10 last time and after sitting on the pace he weakened to finish seventh over 1400m at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Looks close to a win and worth including.
