REGALEIRA (7) turned in an eye-catching run fresh in the G2 Rose Stakes (Shuka Sho Trial) at Chukyo when fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Classy filly already a winner this grade. The one to beat. WHOLENESS (1) saluted when resuming last start at Listed level at Niigata over this distance. Has a fine winning strike-rate over this journey with three wins from four starts. Takes on tougher opposition this time but should measure up. SHINRYOKUKA (8) last appeared when successful by a nose over 2000m in the G3 Niigata Kinen ten weeks ago, the only time she went to the races last prep. Should park just off the speed.On speed runner who will be in this for a long way fresh. SCINTILLATION (12) performed above expectations when resuming last time over 1800m in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes at Tokyo, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second after starting at huge odds. Hits the line hard and looks a leading chance with repeat of last run.
