Has a very good record over today's journey with two wins from four starts. Will find this a little easier than last start. Top chance in this field. EMPIRE WAIST (2) comes here off a break of four months. Scored over 2000m at Nakayama to launch the last campaign. Capable of playing a major role. SIRIUS COLT (16) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing ninth over 2000m in the G3 Kokura Kinen at Chukyo three months ago. Goes well when fresh including a win and two minor placings. Should park just off the speed. Will be in this for a long way. FLY LIKE BIRD (4) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 1.5 lengths last time over 2000m at Chukyo. Has a strong record at this distance with a win and three minor placings from four starts and must be respected.
