Moderate tempo with Mia Passione leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. LORD BALLON D'OR (9) turned in a fine effort to win by a head at this course and distance last start in a far better run. No reason he cannot salute again. ARTEMIS BIO (2) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1300m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. MIA PASSIONE (1) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when fourth over 1400m at this track. Leo Nakayama is back on and is yet to miss the top-three from four rides, including three wins. Sure to be competitive. MEISHO THEOS (4) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1300m at this track, finishing second and beaten a neck. Looks well placed so expect a solid showing.
