Pace looks strong with Alkwn pushing forward from an outside draw along with Hollywood Smile in closer. TYCOON (5) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths as favourite. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. HOLLYWOOD SMILE (4) finished fourth when first-up from a spell last start over 1400m at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will take some beating. ESCAMILLO (1) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1400m at this track when beaten 2.25 lengths. Form here at the trip is sound with three wins and five minor placings from 10 runs. One of the main contenders. DERMA SUSOBARAI (8) finished second last time out over this course and distance, travelling towards the tail before winding up strongly in the final stages. Has a solid record at this circuit. Not to be discounted.
