Plenty of early pace with Festes Band and Neuse Tesoro to vie for the lead, pressured by Logi Silver and Eridanus. CHILCANO (3) is a talented filly who was well held last time in tougher grade over 2000m in the G1 Shuka Sho at Kyoto. Will drift back but wind up late. Huge class drop and will be tough to stop this company. NEUSE TESORO (1) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 2000m at this track, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and she looms as a significant threat. KANA TAPE (13) is back from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Raced once last campaign and finished third over 1400m at Niigata. Record here is impressive with three wins from seven starts. Sure to be competitive. ERIDANUS (11) is taking on an easier contest following a last-start second over 2200m at Niigata. Best figures measure up and is sure to run well.
