COSMO OPINION (4) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish third last start over 1800m at Niigata Dirt, beaten 1.3 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. ACELERACION (1) last appeared when he finished eighth over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt on August 18. One of the genuine hopes in the race. VENT VIVE (15) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by half a length over 1400m at Niigata. Fitter for that last hitout and he is a major player again. ALL MAXIMUM (3) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
