FIVE ROSES (3) has been going well this preparation, scoring last start over 1400m at this track to make it four wins from six runs this time in. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. MIKAZUKI (1) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly to hold third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over today's journey at Kasamatsu. Has the talent to go a couple better. SHIGERU HAPPINESS (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.5 lengths when fifth over 1400m at this track six-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. PARADISUM (6) finished 12th at this track and distance at his last appearance four months ago. One to consider on best form.
