Solid tempo with Positive Image possessing enough dash to find the front. POSITIVE IMAGE (3) ran a strong second over 1107m at this track two runs back then was below his best last time over 1200m when 12th, beaten 10 lengths. Can bounce back in what looks a relatively thin race after scratchings. APACHE SUNRISE (4) is a three-year-old filly who is still a maiden after six starts but has been in the placings two times. Should improve off an even showing fresh and has claims. PACKERS JOURNEY (10) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths, after being prominent at the corner at her latest appearance over 1350m at Donald. Can give cheek. CORAL JET (1) made strides last time in and can be further improved this preparation, consider from a good draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Positive Image to win. |

Looks a keen contest with Discover Lupino and Guitar Gangster pressing for the lead with Inner Thoughts and Newcombe close at hand. MENZIES CREEK (6) made progress last start to finish second over 1243m at Geelong after being prominent at the corner. Drawn well for John Allen who should track the speed and present late, go close. DISCOVER LUPINO (2) was 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1300m at Seymour last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Should park just off the speed and take some beating. INNER THOUGHTS (9) was beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth over 1000m at Wangaratta at her latest appearance, mixing her form a bit this time in. Can roll forward and give a sight. DONE MY JOB (3) resumes having struggled on heavy ground on debut before the break, look for improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Menzies Creek to win. |

Strong tempo from Tomorrows Prospect pushing on from Sloane Raider and Enniscrone booting up underneath. ZETHEROS (6) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1400m at Warrnambool. Should come on nicely from that and draws for every hope, big chance. ANGEL'S GATHERING (1) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1600m at Kilmore. Tough draw again but look out late. CALL ME RHONDA (7) is a 10-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Kilmore over 1450m, beaten 7 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. LE PLUS RAPIDE (4) has had a few chances but did strike a tougher maiden at Warrnambool last time, prior efforts were okay for this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zetheros to win. |

Genuine tempo from Lucky Crimson leading Parrot Club. THUNDERBOLT WAY (10) was well in the market last time and made it two minor placings from as many runs this prep when a neck away in second over 1600m at Kilmore. Won't need to improve much to go one better. BAROSSA VALLEY (1) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1600m at Kilmore. Up in trip suits now and he has upside. BRUTALRULE (2) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start over 1620m at Donald, beaten 3.5 lengths. Can push on and give a sight. MR VEGAS (7) has been thereabouts in two runs back and should improve now while EPOCH (4) is in the mix again with consistent recent form despite a tough gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Thunderbolt Way on top. |

Looks a keen contest with Call Me Francis and Nothin' Wong Here pressing for the lead with Cristaria and Chouxdino close at hand. NOTHIN' WONG HERE (8) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 0.8 lengths away in second over 2050m at Wodonga when he was prominent throughout. The maiden win looks close and he gets every chance from the draw. CRISTARIA (12) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1600m at Seymour, beaten 4.5 lengths. Rates well on that and should be hard to hold out. SPICY APPLE (10) improved last start but found a couple better over 1894m at Kyneton, beaten 2.75 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Chance on that effort. PATH TO VICTORY (9) has shown some ability in three runs to date and has each way claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nothin' Wong Here to win. |

Carlito Brigante should lead and control the tempo. THREE REEL ROSES (7) ran below their best last time after being in contention on the turn at Kilmore, finishing tenth and beaten 12 lengths starting at $4.40. She's another that can turn things around quickly having run well at Echuca prior. NINYO (8) finished midfield at her first run back from a spell last start, beaten 7 lengths over 1590m at Wangaratta on soft going when in the market. Quickly up in trip here but will be fitter and should take holding out. SMOKIN' ROHIE (6) struggled last time but the fresh run was good and he draws to settle closer now up in trip, look for a better run. JAZ TYCOON (2) was okay at Echuca last time, up in trip is a bit of a query as favourite but he has won here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Three Reel Roses on top. |

Plenty of pressure primarily from Tori's Dee, Redemption Time and Fox Man. FOREVER WITH NED (8) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 2.5 lengths back in sixth over 1000m at Pakenham. Will go forward and give a huge sight. PRINCE MARIONETTE (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on September 6, finishing tenth and beaten 6 lengths over 1209m at Mildura. Still lightly raced and can do much better here. TORI'S DEE (6) got the job done in solid style last start, scoring by 0.8 lengths over this journey at Ararat after stalking the lead. No reason he can't go on with it here. PRANCING QUEEN (10) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 1.4 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 1000m at Mornington. Suited this level with winning claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Forever With Ned to win. |

MATROOSHI (11) has not appeared since she finished 14th over 1400m at Terang on December 16. Best form reads well, can figure prominently. SIMPLY SASSY (13) is close to a win after a sequence of strong results, the latest when second over 1307m at this track. In the mix again, keep safe. TRIOMPHE (14) was in the placings again last time when 2.5 lengths adrift in third over 1300m at Ararat. Should be right there again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Princess Mess to win. |

Pharoah's Glory to take up the running with Matthew Mark and Vincentina close at hand. Few in form ones here. JET JITSU (1) is flying having made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1620m at Donald, getting home by 1.5 lengths. He can go on with the job again. LICENSE TO EXCITE (5) is another in top form lately scoring two wins on end, including a determined 0.8 lengths win over 1483m at Kyneton last time. Has strong winning claims again here. NILE CROCODILE (7) ran a better race last start to finish a close third when second-up over 1717m at Sale. Peaks now and suited this class, big chance. VINCENTINA (9) is racing well with back to back placings, close up at Donald latest in this grade. Bates on for the Maher yard and drawn well warrants plenty of attention.
