HANLON WINDOWS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1400m
Pace looks sure to be genuine with Redolent and Dubliners matching motors, closely followed by Yesglenn. WAVE DANCER (4) drifted back early from the inside gate before she launched late from last on the turn with a gritty third over 1200m at Goulburn. Expect to see her race closer and prove hard to hold out over the extra journey. REDOLENT (9) came out quickly at her second run back before she folded up in the straight to run seventh over 1300m at Canberra in a fast run contest. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. YESGLENN (10) tongue-tie comes off and back in trip after he failed to close off with the 59kg when sixth over 1500m at Goulburn in a stronger contest. Drops 4kg in weight today and look for him to figure prominently. SETTA ICON (1) was prominent at the turn when he gripped on late to finish second over 1200m at the Sapphire Coast in a Super Maiden. Maps well and should be winning soon. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,9,10,1. |

COUNTRY MOTOR COMPANY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1000m
Strong tempo with Eltrum, The Netball Queen and Infant Warrior leading the charge. Solid contest with plenty of last start winners. INFANT WARRIOR (1) justified the short price when she held off the challengers to get the job done over this trip at Hawkesbury in good style. Can handle the 2kg weight rise and prove hard to stop. THE NETBALL QUEEN (2) on the ten-day back-up when she sped to the front for a blistering 3.5 len victory over 1000m at Wyong. Will go quickly again from the inside draw in what shapes as a competitive contest. MYSTIC AIR (7) beat inferior opposition on debut in the small field over 1000m at Orange a month ago. Has further upside with top-four prospects. VANTANTE (6) failed to stretch out in the heavy (9) going with a fading sixth over 1000m at Kembla Grange. Can stalk the good tempo and improve quickly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,2,7,6. |

STROUD HOMES NOWRA COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
Looks a keen contest with Millie's Memory and Mogo Rock pressing for the lead with Stern Reminder and Wire To Wire close at hand. STERN REMINDER (3) ready to get off the mark at start three with the blinkers going on from the low draw. Used up early with a tough on-pace second over 1200m at Wagga. Finds an easier contest today and looks too sharp for these. OCEANSIDE (2) frustrating gelding who failed to close off in the soft (7) conditions with a fading sixth over 1200m at Goulburn. Senior rider engaged for this and quickly running out of options if he can't take a hand in the finish. RAINING VIOLETS (9) total forgive from the outside draw at her third race start with a battling sixth over 1400m at the Sapphire Coast. Can stalk the good tempo and figure prominently. MILLIE'S MEMORY (7) nothing went right from the outside gate and pulled up with a slow recovery when sixth over 1100m at Goulburn. Maps well for this and not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stern Reminder ticks plenty of boxes. |

SUSSEX INLET RSL CLUB MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. MILK FOAM (9) drops back a few levels today and ready to get off the mark from the better gate. Covered a stack of ground in the run with a fading eighth over 900m at Newcastle. Gets the gun run with regular rider jumping back on and will give this a mighty shake. BEDDA MIA (5) having her sixteenth start today and unlucky not to have already shed her Maiden status. Appreciated the claim when she gripped on for a game second over 1000m at Kembla Grange. That form is good enough to win this. RED LIGHT RACHEL (10) total forgive from the wide gate with a fading sixth over 1300m at Canberra. Can stalk the tempo and figure prominently. DEFIANCE (1) returns a gelding from a lengthy spell and finds a soft option here. Ridden out to score in both trials and expected to take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Milk Foam is expected to go close. |

SUPERIOR TURF SERVICES COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1100m
Moderate tempo with Marine Girl leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. ABSTRUSE (1) holding her form and doesn't need to improve much to win this from the good draw. Closed late with the 60.5kg for a tough third over 1000m at Wagga. Sure to be about the money. KOOL BIRD (7) has a good record over this course and distance and strips fitter after her first-up fifth over 1200m at this track . Will go back and be ridden for luck from the outside barrier. Stays in the mix. MARINE GIRL (2) massive jump in grade from the awkward gate with a battling eleventh at Randwick in Highway class. Much better set-up for this and no surprise to see her go close. LA MER BLEUE (3) turned his form around for the new yard with a first-up win and unlucky second over 1200m at Goulburn. Hard to stop in this rich vein of form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,7,3,2. |

KEL CAMPBELL FUEL HAULAGE BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1600m
Solid tempo with Gunfighter Road leading from Turn Left and Astrogazer. GUNFIGHTER ROAD (4) took control early at his second race start with a dominant on-pace win over over 1400m at this track with the 58.5kg. Has further upside heading into this and no reason he can't get the job done over the mile. SOUTHERN SKY (6) mixing her form on the provincial tracks. Will relish the firmer surface after struggling on the heavy track with a plugging fifth over 1600m at Kembla Grange. Fitter now and has genuine winning claims. ASTROGAZER (2) consistent gelding who drops in class with the 4kg claim after holding on to secure third over 1500m at Goulburn in BM66 class. Has the speed to get across and not without each way prospects. CINEPHILE (11) third-up for this after he chipped away late to run fourth over 1600m at the Sapphire Coast. Maps well and due for a change of luck. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,6,2. |

SOUTH COAST RETREAT BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1400m
Savaii should use the inside draw to advantage and lead with Royalify and Prince Harrison. Tough race to end the day. WILD SENSATION (9) returned from a lengthy break with a slashing first-up fourth over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Proven at this trip and expect to see him a little closer in the run. Top-three prospect. KNIGHT OF RHODES (12) happy to overlook the first-up flop in the heavy conditions with a fading last over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Won well on debut here last September and can make rapid improvement over this trip. ACHESON (4) struggling to draw a decent gate at his last three outings and today is no different. Covered a stack of ground in the run with a tiring sixth over 1200m at Canberra in a TAB Federal. Can make his mark with the claim. HELLO JACK (6) tough gelding with his hoof on the till. Will roll forward and stays in the calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wild Sensation can put these away second-up. |
