NUM TIME COMMENT
1 05:42 SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE 1609m
CAPTAIN DORIAN (1) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 7 metres from the winner in third over 2030m here. Has the benefit of a good draw and rates a leading hope based on those recent efforts. JEFFCOATE (6) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back placing before breaking through last start, getting home by 1.3 metres at this venue. Could go on with it. HIDDEN DELIGHT (2) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid fifth at this circuit over 1609m. Hard to find fault from the favourable draw. LOVE LOU (3) is a player after finishing third when resuming over 1609m at this venue last time out. Strips fitter now.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
2 06:09 GLOBAL BRANDS LIQUOR PACE 2030m
HEZATREACHEROUS (10) comes through the Gold Chalice series at Bathurst where he placed in a heat before suffering the thumps last start. Has won a trial since so looks back on track and is nicley placed. LONGNWINDINGROAD (9) finished sixth last start over 2160m at Narrabri, beaten 8 metres, after a strong win at this track the run prior. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. PAYTONS ROCK (2) ended last prep with a seventh at this circuit over 1609m four months ago. Can open this campaign with a much more positive effort. MCCRIKEY (6) has claims off a win two back.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
3 06:54 WOLF BLASS PACE 1609m
MATT GREGORS BOY (1) turned in a poor effort by his standards most recently when 22 metres away in tenth over 2030m at this track. Form prior to that had been solid. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw and he can turn the recent effort around. DEBONAIRE (2) ran seventh last start at Bathurst over 1730m, beaten 21 metres. Expecting a very good run from the low draw. SARA TA SLOY (4) deserves consideration after her last-start fifth when resuming over 1720m at Penrith eight days ago. Top-three credentials. ONEHANDONEBOUNCE (5) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by a head at Tamworth over 1980m. Has to be included in calculations.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
4 07:21 MATES4HARNESS HARNESS BREEDERS NSW LADYSHIP PACE 1609m
NOTHINGBUTWAVES (10) was successful at her most recent outing by 1.75 metres in a nice return to form at Penrith over 2125m. Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line but may need luck at some point. Stepping up a level this time but she is capable of making it two on end. POPSTAROMAR (5) finished sixth last start, beaten 4.5 metres at this track over 1609m. Expecting a very good run. BOUGANVILLEA (7) finished ninth last start at Group Two level in a race won by Soap Opera over 1609m at Menangle, beaten 16 metres. This much easier and looms as a significant threat. FLARE UP (9) is close to a win after two successive seconds, the latest over 2030m here. Can feature.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
5 07:46 TOOHEYS PACE 1609m
DADNDAVE (9) ran sixth last start at this track over 1609m, beaten only 9 metres. Drawn to enjoy a nice run, with luck possibly playing a role at some point. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. PORT AU PRINCE (5) turned in a much better run last start when third over 1720m at Penrith, beaten 5 metres, after being up on the pace from the outset. Recent efforts are good enough to take out a race like this. GIVE ME A MINUTE (3) finished ninth last start over 1609m at Menangle. Generally runs very well at this circuit so can play a big role. RICKOSHAY (7) is capable of better after finishing well back when resuming over 1720m at Penrith eight days ago. Worth another chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
6 08:20 SHARP OFFICE PACE 1609m
PETES CRUNCH TIME (4) scored a decisive win last time out over 1609m at this track, getting home by 21 metres in an emphatic display. Big chance in this comparable race. LACHIES IDEAL (3) finished runner-up last time out, beaten 2 metres, in a nice return to form at this circuit over 1609m. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw and his recent efforts are good enough to put him right in the finish. CRUSADER MISS (2) disappointed last time when seventh over 1720m at Penrith. Can make amends from the low draw. THE COUNTY SHERIFF (5) must be respected after scoring last start by a nose at Penrith over 1720m. In the mix.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
7 08:54 JOHN HUNTER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL PACE 2030m
CAPTAIN GROOVE (8) turned in a much better run last start when third over 1710m at Goulburn, beaten 3.5 metres after leading. Has to contend with a very wide draw but rates a leading hope in this comparable race. SIR CANDY CLOUD (10) is racing well with four top-five finishes in succession, the latest effort a second at this track over 1609m. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row. Big chance in a similar race. SEE THE DREAM (6) is better than her first-up tenth over 1720m at Penrith two weeks ago. Strips fitter now and can improve sharply. SWEET ROCKY (2) is worth some thought based on his third over 1609m at this venue two runs ago. One for the exotics players.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
8 09:28 GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN PACE 1609m
FRANCOS DELIGHT (9) was a head away in second at this track over 2030m last start at her first run back from a spell. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go her way at some stage. Meets a comparable field so she is capable of getting the job done. MISS ADONIS (1) finished eighth last start over 2030m here, but beaten only 7 metres, after filling a minor placing at the previous appearance over 1609m at this circuit. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run and is good enough to win a race of this calibre. MIKI BE FREE (5) is in the mix following a fifth at her most recent appearance over 2030m at this venue. MIKI LEE (8) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 2030m at this course last time out. Can earn a cheque.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
9 10:02 THE TAB APP PACE 2030m
ULTIMATE RHAPSODY (4) turned in a much better run at his latest appearance, finishing third over 1609m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but he is capable of another big performance. KISSMELVIS (5) was in the money two starts ago then things went amiss last start when he broke and finished a distant last over 2030m here. Big chance if he brings his Mitch Manners. DOUBLE SAID (10) finished seventh last start over 1609m at this venue. Generally runs very well at this circuit so can play a big role. IRE OF THE DRAGON (9) has been about the mark of late and must be respected, the latest offering a sound fourth at this course over 1609m. May earn some minor money.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
