NUM TIME COMMENT
1 05:04 LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS BAND 5 PACE 1660m
LOCHINVAR JAG (5) came to Brisbane off four successive placings in NSW and continued the trend when beaten 1.4m into second after racing parked here last week. Owns a decent record at this shorter distance. Deserves a win and this could be his chance. RISK TAKER (6) continued his impressive run of recent efforts last start when runner-up at this venue, beaten 1.4 metres. Scored a hat trick of wins here earlier in the preparation. Major player. MY ROCKY ROMANCE (4) came from wider for fourth last time. Goes well at this shorter distance and will enjoy a lower draw. MIRACLE MOOSE (3) must be respected after beating Lochinvar Jag to win here last week.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
2 05:38 PACE WITH MATES DIVIDED OPEN PACE 2138m
TIMS A TROOPER (2) continued a string of wins and placings when he scored here two back then drew on the back row and covered ground in the latter stages when midfield last time, beaten less than 5 metres. The good draw gives him every chance to return to winning form. FREE THINKER (4) took advantage of the inside barrier to lead and win by 5.4 metres here last start. Draws a few spots wider but is going well. MANILA PLAYBOY (10) cops a second row draw but is flying at present with two successive wins here. With even luck he can keep the ball rolling. BRAEDOS LAD (11) cops a tougher draw but is ticking along well with placings in his last two outings.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
3 06:12 RACING & SPORTS.COM UP TO NR75 FINAL 1660m
APOLLO DREAMZ (3) is racing in fine form with back-to-back wins at this circuit and distance. Had to call on all reserves to salute last start, getting home by a head. Likely to get all the favours from this lower draw. Can land the hat trick. TEDDY TURPIN (9) has come from this row to place in both starts since a spell, finishing 1.3m away as runner-up from this barrier last start. Should be close to peak fitness now. ROCK SUPREME (2) got the better of Teddy Turpin when scoring here last time and has been kept up to the mark with a trial win since. Draws to make an impact again. MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (8) is another with the hoof on the till having placed in both outings this time in.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
4 06:42 CATCH THE FIRE AT SOMERSET FARMS QUALIFYING PACE 2138m
CHARGE AHEAD (8) has been freshened since three successive seconds at Menangle, the latest in the G1 Chariots of Fire. That is very strong form for this and he won the last time he raced here. Draws for a trail and will be hard to stop. IRON CLAD (5) has been competitive of late. Missed by a nose two back and kept the ball rolling last time when fourth from this barrier. Should be close to his peak now. OUR INDIFFERENCE (3) suffered interference and broke last start but had recorded a win and two placings from the previous three starts. Should have no excuses from this advantageous draw so deserves another chance. Last-start placegetter ZOOM PARTY (2) is in the mix again from a low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
5 07:12 WOLF SIGNS UP TO NR75 CONSOLATION 1660m
OUR BENSON (5) drew on the back row and worked last time so was far from disgraced when beaten 6.4m. Returns to the front line and the prior form was good with two wins and a second from his previous four outings at this circuit. VINSANITY (10) crossed from a wide barrier to lead then boxed on last start at Redcliffe, beaten only 1.7 metres. With an ounce of luck from this tricky draw he can make an impact. CHEER LEADER (3) is on the radar having come from wider to be beaten 6m last time after placing in her previous two outings here. SERGIOS ROCKET (4) must be considered after she came from the back row and finished runner-up here last week.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
6 07:47 NEVER QUIT HQ BAND 5 PACE 1660m
AIR EXPRESS (7) is back in peak form having returned to the winners' list when third-up here two back before overcoming a break to salute again last time by 5m from a back row draw. Smart pacer who can land the hat trick. REGAZZO DI TILLY (8) is racing well and looks close to a win after back-to-back placings since a spell. Hasn't missed the top-three when third-up so could peak and break through. KICKATINALONGPONY (1) is in the mix having placed from this barrier two back while MISTER REACTOR (5) could progress off a nice effort to place when resuming.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
7 08:18 CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES QUALIFYING PACE 1660m
LUVARESCHS (2) resumes from a spell of five months after closing off last campaign in good form, winning a Listed Race at her last appearance at Newcastle. Steps out for a new yard and was second in a recent trial here. Should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position so could kick off with a win. SWEET OPTIONS (8) was drawn wider on this row last start but from this barrier should be able to settle just behind them and wait on the sprint lane if necessary. Winner here two back so she is capable of a strong performance. OHANA DANCER (1) won from a wider barrier here three back so is on the radar from the ace draw. BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (4) will be nearing peak fitness and is in the mix if she can recapture the form from two starts back that saw her finish third at this venue.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
8 08:48 NUTRIEN EQUINE MARES BAND 5 PACE 1660m
INDI AIR TONIGHT (3) found winning form last time out over 2138m at this track, leading and getting home by 2 metres. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Leading hope again. ELEGANT GROOVES (2) drew a wide gate and worked last start when midfield at Tamworth. Tends to do her best work at this circuit and distance and from a good draw she is capable of a big performance. BONNIES DANCE (7) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish just over a metre away when third at this venue. BRADNESS JUNE (9) is worth some thought based on her victory from this row two back.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
9 09:17 GARRARDS CHANGEOVER 2YO CLASSIC 1660m
BARSBY (7) looks a colt of good promise having made an immediate impact on debut four weeks ago, scoring by 3 metres at this circuit. May need a bit of luck negotiating a wide starting position but he should have come on and could be bound for better things. WONTYOUSTAYWITHME (1) progressed off a debut second to Barsby to win last start by close 5 metres at this venue and distance. The inside draw gives her a chance to turn the tables on the top pick. IDEAL BRONSKI (8) scored by 4.6 metres when lining up for the second time here last time. Has trialled since and there is plenty of room for improvement so another win would not surprise. STRIPES (6) debuted impressively last start, scoring by 5.3 metres. Up in grade but has of scope for improvement.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
10 09:46 I H CAPITAL MARES QUALIFYING PACE (B DIV) 1660m
LIMBO LILLY (6) has produced some decent efforts since switching to Brisbane following a Bathurst win last month. Far from disgraced here last time when she came firm the back row to be beaten 6m. Finds a winnable assignment. OUR ULTIMATE QUEEN (3) is yet to really fire this time in but she is building in fitness and owns a good record at this circuit and distance. Draws well so may be ready to show more. BETTING JEWEL (1) has been coming from wider or second row barriers of late so the ace draw could see a better result. SII SEMPRE TILLY (10) draws on the back row but must be respected off a string of top-two finishes.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
11 10:15 GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MARES OPEN PACE 1660m
RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (6) is flying having landed a winning hat trick at this circuit when leading from a similar draw to score last time. Kept fresh since but has built an impressive strike rate at this venue and distance. Hard to stop. CHYNCHILLA (8) was too good when a second-up winner before suffering a surprise defeat as a hot favourite when runner-up last time. Classy when at her best and draws for a trail so could bounce back. THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (2) came from the back row for a resuming win at this venue. Takes on a couple of smart mares but draws to advantage. SOAP OPERA (1) could get into the money from the ace draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
