NUM TIME COMMENT
1 02:12 CENTRAL MURRAY BANK TROT 2170m
LIZZIES SON (3) faded out as a hot favourite last time but he is much better than that. Was racing in good form prior with a string of top-four finishes including an easy win at Shepparton where he led from a similar draw to this. He deserves another chance. THATS DUDLEY (7) has been close to the placings at his last couple, last time beaten only 3.6m into fourth when off a 10m handicap at Echuca. Finds a suitable assignment and has winning claims. DHONI TROUBLE (6) broke but wasn't far away last time after a solid fourth two back. Building in fitness so is a chance with manners. ABBIE (4) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win at Bendigo where she raced wide from a back row draw but toughed it out.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
2 02:47 COBRAM HOTEL PACE 2170m
MALAVA MISS (7) has taken on higher-graded races in her two starts this time in, clocking in midfield when resuming before working as a beaten favourite last start. Draws wide but is building in fitness and looks better placed. MURIEL (5) came from a similar barrier to place two back at Maryborough before racing three wide without cover for fourth last start at Echuca. Expecting a strong showing. CRAFTY OLD FOX (2) is in the mix following a respectable third from this barrier at his most recent appearance at Echuca. HARTNETT (1) gets the ace draw for her return and should be forward enough following four trials.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
3 03:25 LEST WE FORGET OUR ANZACS PACE 1670m
ALTA BAYAMO (7) draws wide but has been racing well from back row barriers at Shepparton, scoring a 5m win two back before he was edged out by just a nose last time. Has strong claims. OHHEMMJAY CRESCO (6) led from wider to score two back at Shepparton then raced parked but stuck on for fourth last start. Draws wider but is proven at this circuit and distance and is in form. LAVADA GOLD (5) scored from a similar barrier to this at Maryborough last month and did a good job to come from the back line last time out for third at Maryborough. Contender. A low draw brings HAND WRITER (2) into calculations.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
4 04:01 COBRAM BAROOGA RSL PACE 2170m
LILLY LOTUS (3) will find this easier than her last attempt in a Nutrien Classic heat and did a good job for a resuming win two back at Bendigo. Draws well and has winning claims in this suitable assignment. RINGORELLA (5) is back from a spell of a year but looks to be right up to the mark following two nice trials, recording a win and a second. Owns a decent record at this distance and finds a suitable assignment. Expecting a bright start to the campaign. DENNY ROCKS (7) switches from Brisbane where he has been producing some decent efforts at Albion Park, finishing fifth and 8 metres from the winner when last seen. Must overcome a wide draw but could measure up. OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (6) scored a win the last time he raced here last month and is right in contention after finishing in the placings at his last two outings.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
5 04:38 PINK DAY SHEPPARTON SUNDAY 4TH OF MAY MAIDEN PACE 1670m
DIEING FEAR (2) raced parked and was beaten into fourth when resuming as a hot favourite two back then made progress last time, coming from a back row draw to go under narrowly at Bendigo. Should be close to peak fitness and gets her chance from the low draw. COOGEE (4) is on the radar after clocking in fourth in his last three outings. Vincent gelding GEE YOUNG (9) has bene trialling okay so is a market watch on debut while CORAL CAYS (1) is capable of a better showing with the aid of the inside draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
6 05:11 GRAINSTORE CAFE COBRAM PACE 1670m
SOHO PLAYGIRL (8) is in good form with two wins and a second from her last three starts. Registered a commanding victory last time out, scoring by more than 9 metres at Echuca. Shouldn't spend a penny from this draw and won the only time she raced here. Leading hope. IAMAHUNTER (5) returned from a spell in very good order last start when he led and kept going to score at Coolamon, getting home by 2 metres. Could go right on with the job. DOOO DONT THINK (6) is a player after a string of top-three finishes, the latest a solid second at Echuca. Hard to fault his consistency. SIR SONNY MAGUIRE (9) must be considered after he finished runner-up at Bendigo last start and won from this barrier prior.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
