The trio Gifted Gamer and Apollo Blu will set a strong tempo. GIFTED GAMER (2) only battled on for fifth fresh up at Sandown-Lakeside but it was in a far stronger field. He was close up in some handy races in the spring and though he has only won 1 race, he is nicely placed at this level and is the one to beat this time. SUBLIMINAL (1) won in this class 3 starts back and was back in that sort of form last time out at Benalla when finishing third in a tougher field. He has a good gate and loses nothing with Declan Bates in the saddle. HARD WARRIOR (3) won his maiden narrowly but impressively at Terang in his penultimate start before only battling and finishing last in a far stronger field at Morphettville last time out nearly 4 weeks ago. He is worth another chance in this. Include in all combinations. MISHARE (6) maiden win came two starts back after 2 attempts. Was well held last start when third at Cranbourne. Gets slugged with 60.5kg here. Not the worst in this and can feature. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gifted Gamer to win.
