Pace is likely to be fair over the marathon journey. ROCKSTAR RONNIE (2) won this race last year and is coming off a similar preparation. Ciaron Maher has an excellent record in this race and if he jumps cleanly he will prove hard to beat. BELL EX ONE (3) is stepping out for his first run over jumps this campaign. Has been given a thorough grounding and was scratched from Tuesday's Brierly to be saved for this. Is expected to go close. BUDD FOX (10) was favourite for this race two years ago before being a race morning scratching. Showed a lot of fight to score at Pakenham last time and will make a bold bid here. CROSSHILL (7) gets back over the bigger jumps this time and in good hands. Cannot be left out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Back Rockstar Ronnie to win.
