APO (12) showed good early pace last time and battled on gamely to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1200m at this track. Has the gate speed to overcome a awkward draw. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SOLEA (5) returned from a spell last start with a modest fifth over 1200m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Has a solid record at this venue with two wins from five starts. One of the better hopes. NIJIIRO LINE (4) finds it hard to win with just one success from 14 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1200m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to test this line-up. GOLD BERET (9) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly to get up for third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over this course and distance. Must be included.
