Genuine tempo with the speedy Strong Lady leading the way. UNDAUNTING (3) appreciated the step up to a mile last time out at Benalla and scored there by over 2 lengths with a fair bit in hand. She is bred to excel over more ground but as she is still early in her prep another run over a mile should not be a problem. She lands the pole position and can take the next step immediately. PARIS SHIRAZ (7) can mix her form but she has won 2 of her last 3 starts in similar company to what she meets here and she is capable of another top-three finish. ARACHIDI (6) did not finish her race off as expected last time after having to work a touch too hard early on from a wide gate. She has a superior draw this time and can make amends. Stick with her on an each-way basis. SAXON BEAUTY (2) was well supported fresh up at Stawell but did not fire and finished at the rear of the 6-horse field. She strips fitter and will relish the step up to a mile. The key is the drop back in class and she can set the record straight this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Saxon Beauty each-way.
