Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Mitono Charmant. MITONO CHARMANT (2) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 3 lengths over 1400m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. TAISEI DREAMER (4) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 1600m at this track in a disappointing performance. Likely improver with strong prospects. Grade 3 placegetter LUCE D'ORO (3) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1600m at Kawasaki when beaten 3.5 lengths. Will be right in this. NARINO CHRISTIE (5) saluted two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 1400m at this track, beaten a neck. One of the main hopes.
