Strong early tempo over this journey looks a certainty. THREE ROCKS (1) is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance, including last start when sent out as the favourite. Looks well placed in this field and with Richard Fourie in the saddle can notch up her seventh-career victory. GIMME'S LASSIE (2) should have finished closer to the winner than fifth last time as she clipped heels with 200 to run. She would have come on from the run and jumping from the inside gate has solid each-way claims. PASSCHENDAELE (5) was an easy winner of her last start over 1300m on the polytrack when sent out as the favourite. She raced from a handy position, quickened up well and won with plenty left in the tank. She looks well placed here to go back-to-back. GOLDEN PACIFIC (3) has won twice, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. She finished a close-up fifth last start over 1000m at Fairview All Weather and can return to form here. Well worth considering.
