Lots of speed predominantly from Desert Dreamer, Bel's Banner and Bat Pad. DESERT DREAMER (1) capped off some strong recent form with a good win over a handy field here a week ago. This lineup is probably easier and even with 3.5 kilos more to carry, he can win again. POCKET PISTOL (4) battled on bravely to finish third here last start and should be at his peak fitness for this assignment. He has options from the inside gate and is nicely weighted after a 1.5-kilo claim. Hard to beat this time. BAT PAD (3) is proving to be very hard to catch but if she is in the right mood she can take this out. She seems to race best for Sonja Logan and the pair merit healthy respect in the small field. BEL'S BANNER (2) is a stablemate of the top pick who raced her way back into winning form here 8 weeks ago. Jarrod Todd sticks with her and with the same weight to carry as last time so do we. SUGGESTED PLAY: Desert Dreamer to win.
