JOEY D'OR (1) underrated gelding who showed potential on the provincial tracks last time in work before coming to the end of his prep when eighth over 1400m at Warwick Farm on November 22. Looked sharp when a recent 900m trial winner at Rosehill. Has to carry the 61kg but gets map favours. COMMANDO JACK (3) resuming after a spell of six-and-a-half months. Will find this more to his liking after finishing sixth over 1400m at Randwick Kensington on October 4. Returns without a trial and has some significant gear changes. Sure to be thereabouts. NINGALOO REEF (8) first starter by Rubick out of Devolving on debut for the Claire Lever yard. Ran third in a recent trial at Hawkesbury over 800m. Looks to have the ability to figure prominently. THE MOOCH (11) much better showing when second at Wellington over 900m on April 12. Goes well this track and trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Joey D'Or to win.
