Abundant early pace from The Candy Girl and La Fille Rouge ahead of Mintman. MINTMAN (4) resumed from a spell last start and looked well in need of the run when finishing fifth of six over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside when well supported. He strips fitter today and dropping back to country grade along with 3kg less to carry rates well as a leading chance. CHECK YOUR SIX (2) resuming from a spell having had just the two runs last prep, he finished a solid second of 11 over 1200m two starts back when on debut then last start finished last of eight over 1400m at Flemington. Fresh-up and dropping back to country grade should be figuring in the finish. TELESCOPE (10) has placed in all of her three starts this prep including last time out when after overracing over the early running finished third of six over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside. She jumps from an inside gate and has each-way claims. LEGENDARY DIVA (6) makes her racing debut today.
