OCEAN OF TEARS (14) is in good form at present. Finished fourth at her latest appearance over 1700m at Ashburton Raceway, beaten 4.5 metres. Must overcome a very wide draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. WHATZ MY CHOICE (13) was without a win before he improved last start to score by 2.5 metres over 2000m at this track a week ago. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Tackles a similar assignment and he can go right on with the job. MAJOR TORQUE (2) is close to a win after two successive placings, the latest a third over 2000m at this track. Great chance to break through. FOVEAUX GAMBLER (1) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish third at this track over 1980m.
