Certain to be a strong tempo with Act Naturally, Global Lady and Pompei Warning leading the charge. GLASS SHOES (5) resumed from a spell last start and looked well in need of the run when finishing fifth of 10 over 1300m at Fairview All Weather. She has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this course and distance. She takes a drop-in class and should give the males a decent run for their money. GREAT MELODY (6) finished a close-up fourth over 1200m at Fair view All Weather last start in what was his second run this prep. He will strip a lot fitter today and has placed third-up previously. With luck in the running after jumping from his wide draw should be fighting out the finish. POMPEI WARNING (3) ran a good race when finishing third of nine over 1200m on the polytrack last time out when well supported. He won here three starts back and looks well placed to return to winning form. FERRANDO (8) was sent out favourite last time out and scored an easy victory at this track after having placed second in his two previous starts. Has top-three claims.
