2CONSTRUCT TROT HANDICAP 2240m

Track: GOOD

BENNIE AND THE JETS (1) finished fourth last start, beaten 3.5 metres at Bendigo over 1650m. Steps up a level but with the advantage of the pole position, he is good enough to cope. HATCHBACK (9) ran seventh last start at this track over 1720m, beaten 24 metres. Has the ability and should be right in the finish. ZAREM (8) resumes. Last appeared when a modest effort over 2760m at this track ten weeks ago. With a quick beginning, he can make his presence felt. TRIPOD (7) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 1720m at this track last time out. Use the market as your best guide.

Comes here second-up after three weeks. Lacklustre first-up performance when he broke in score up and was out of position at the start 8th (Sr2) over 1609m at Geelong beaten 35 m by Rocky Valley (1:58.30) in NR 56 to 62 on May 16 at $51. This looks a far sterner task.
