Darwin Cup Carnival On Sale Now TROBIS Maiden Plate 1000m

Track: GOOD   Rain (Max: 31)   Rail: True.

Strong early tempo assured with Tough Critic and Gelata locking horns. MIAMI VICE (4) showed plenty of speed and ability when trained in Victoria and is making his local debut after finishing fourth in a 5 horse field at Warrnambool near the start of the year. He would have strengthened up a touch since then and is nicely placed over 1000 metres fresh up. Hard to beat, especially if the money comes for him. EXTREME EMOTION (6) finished third fresh up in his first local start since making the move from Victoria late last year. She has been given time to get over that effort and her trainer usually has a lot of success early with similar types. She is nicely placed to take this out. SIBERIAN LARCH (2) had his first run back nearly 5 weeks ago after returning from Hong Kong and finished fourth as favourite. She strips fitter and will be a winner at short notice. Follow your money here. TOUGH CRITIC (3) looks a place chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miami Vice to win.
