TOPZAVSKI (9) stayed out of the early speed battle from a wide gate on the front line last start and couldn't come on, finishing 40 metres from the winner in eighth at Shepparton over 2190m. He is better than that and is a big chance if anywhere near his best. FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (3) ran ninth last start at Bendigo over 1650m, beaten 14 metres. Has the ability and should be right in the finish. STAR RULER (6) last appeared when ninth over 2200m at Ballarat 16 months ago. Expect a better effort to kick off this prep. MY LUCKY ROCK (12) is also in contention, although the draw makes her job a bit tougher. Include in all combinations.
