Hot early pace is on the cards with Roll Of The Dice, Apache Son and Pacific matching motors. SHINTO SHRINE (14) produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course. He was slowly into stride but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish to run second of nine was encouraging. He would have gained from the experience and he should like the extra 200m on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected rates highly. GRAND CRESCENDO (12) resumes from a spell during which time he would have strengthened up. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and fresh-up has each-way claims. ILHA DA ORANGE (9) was disappointing in her last start over 1200m. Her penultimate run when finishing third over this distance was fair. She can finish in the placings. LIGHTINTHESTORM (13) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then finished seventh over 1200m contest at Turffontein Inside last start. Looks well placed in this line-up so expecting a big run this time.
