Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Petteia, Mafiabagsthemoney and Run For Me leading the charge. CAPTAIN EFFICIENT (7) was slowly into stride over 1000m last time and ran on well to finish fifth of 15. If getting away to a better start today can shed his maiden tag. RUN FOR ME (4) has decent recent form lines to his credit having placed in his last four starts. He is at his best on the turf track and with a 1.5kg claimer in the saddle should be fighting out the finish. PETTEIA (1) resumes from a spell and is having his first run for the Alan Greeff stable. He showed promise earlier in his career and if putting his best foot forward can finish in the money. COLONEL GREEN (9) resumes from a spell having finished 11th of 16 over 1200m at Kenilworth last start. Having his first start from the Gavin Smith stable and fresh-up is well worth considering.
